Digimitt choose Tellus Fiber AB
Key contract strengthens Tellus Fiber's position as a leading supplier of cost-effective and sustainable fiber optic solutions in Sweden.
[STOCKHOLM, October 1, 2024] – Tellus Fiber AB, a leading supplier of fiber optic equipment, has won a significant procurement with Digimitt, a collaboration between five city networks (Kramfors Mediateknik, Servanet, Sollefteå Stadsnät, Övik Energi and Härjeåns) in Västernorrland and Jämtland counties. The value of the framework agreement amounts to 10 million SEK, and Tellus Fiber will deliver fiber optic equipment with a focus on sustainability and high availability.
The framework agreement with an estimated annual volume of approximately 2.5 million SEK runs for 2 years with the possibility of extension by 1 + 1 year means that Tellus Fiber will provide fiber optic transceivers for 1G, 10G, 40G and 100G, DAC and AOC cables as well as wavelength equipment for CWDM and DWDM with associated optics. Tellus Fiber was chosen due to its ability to offer a competitive pricing structure while meeting the strict requirements for sustainability and availability that Digimitt demanded.
