The FlexScan in the 1310/1550 version offers complete verification of point-to-point network installations and efficient troubleshooting. By testing at both wavelengths, FlexScan can identify bad splices and macro bends, as well as ensure that the network functions properly in both the 1310 and 1550 nm windows.
The FlexScan OTDR allows both beginners and experienced technicians to quickly and reliably troubleshoot optical networks, or fully characterize newly installed or repaired networks. With FlexScan’s innovative SmartAuto mode, this multi-pulse OTDR can quickly and accurately identify, locate, and measure network components and faults. After using industry standards or user-specific pass/fail criteria, the network characterization is presented in FlexScan’s intuitive, icon-based LinkMap view.
